Odebolt-Arthur High School presented the musical, GUYS AND DOLLS
November 9th & 10th in the Bart Ogden Gym.
Co-directors of the productions were Laurie Currie and Jean Volkers. Music and lyrics are by Frank Loesser and the book by Jo Swerling
and Abe Burrows.
Set in New York City in the
1940's, the show is based upon Damon Runyon's characters of soft-hearted
gamblers and good-natured thugs, who have been targeted by the Save-a-Soul
Mission. Guys and Dolls was presented through special arrangement
with Music Theatre International (MPI). All authorized performance
materials are also supplied by MPI, 421 54th Street, New York, NY 10019.
