Held During 2008 Creek Days Weekend

Odebolt and Odebolt-Arthur All-School Reunion was held on Friday evening, June 20th, 2008 during the Creek Days weekend.  It is held every three years.

The banquet and program was on Friday, June 20th at the Odebolt-Arthur High School.  A catered dinner was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m.  The Rev. Charles Downing (Class of 1966) delivered the invocation.  Entertainment was by the Alumni Band, Don & Barb (Girvan) Horak (Class of 1967), bluegrass musicians who sang numbers accompanied by guitar and upright bass, as well as a fantastic cabaret act performed by Kyle Hustedt (Class of 1998) and accompanied by Barb Votrobek (Class of 1968). St. Martin's 130th Celebration & All-School Reunion, Sunday, June 22nd
     Former Students and Parishioners of St Martin Church and school were invited to come back for a reunion and celebration during the Odebolt Creek Days weekend. Mass was celebrated at 10:00 on Sun. June 22nd, followed by a lunch at 11:30.
     Classes had an opportunity to meet and visit, share stories and get reacquainted with the present families still attending St. Martin church .

Class of 1948 held its 60th class reunion on Saturday, June 21st, 8:00 pm at the East End on Black Hawk Lake, Lake View

Class of 1950 met at the Odebolt Community Center after the Friday evening Alumni program on June 20th.

Class of 1953 met Saturday evening, June 21st at the Hayeloft in Wall Lake.  Cocktails at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm.

Class of 1954 met at the Country Inn in Lake View (along Hwy 175) on June 21st at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour and dinner.  John Krusenstjerna, Chairman.

Class of 1955 held an "off-year" (53rd) reunion on the Creek Days weekend.  They met at Cronks in Denison on Saturday, June 21st at 5:30 p.m.

Class of 1964 - Ron and Jeanie Grove hosted the Class of '64 in Battle Creek starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008.

Class of 1967 -    The Class of 1967 met at 6:00 p.m. in the back room of CoBe's Bar and Grill (the old bowling alley) on Saturday evening, June 21, 2008 for their "40 Plus One" Class Reunion (a delayed 40th).

Class of 1968 celebrated their 40th Class Reunion the evening of June 21st at Country Inn in Lake View, Iowa.

Class of 1972 held a reunion in  conjunction with the all school reunion / Creek Days weekend.

Class of 1973 Reunion 35 years!   Held  August 2nd, 2008; 6:00 pm at the Prairie Pedlar Garden: 1609 270th Street; Odebolt.  Meal catered by Lidderdale Country Store.  Cost: $15 per person.  Enjoy a relaxing evening socializing with old friends.
