The committee is currently working on applying for grants to help finance landscaping the "Odebolt" entrance signs and also directional or "wayfinding" signs for the triangle park and along Hwy. 39 by Reis Auto.

The below are some views of possible landscaping and configuration of directional signs.  Keep in mind that these are conceptual designs and are subject to change!

Residents of Odebolt had the opportunity to view the final conceptual landscape plan for the community during public meetings.

Some of the areas that have been addressed in these plans include enhancements to several areas on Highway 175 to improve the view as travelers drive to Odebolt. Other designs address downtown, the Monument Circle Park and trail system. The Visioning committee previewed the image edits created by the design team.

The Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program is sponsored by the Iowa Department of Transportation in partnership with Iowa State University Extension Landscape Architecture and Trees Forever.
