Rescue League to remove our downtown feral cat population. To my
knowledge most, if not all, the cats are gone. The diseased

placed in farm homes. The Rescue League states that they will
periodically check back with us.

Dancers Shine like Stars
April 1 - Dance Teams and Pom
Squads from Odebolt-Arthur, BCIG, Schaller-Crestland and Aurelia wowed a
large audience last night. March 31st, at O-A's Dance Express spring show,
"You're a Shining Star", held at Bart Ogden Gym.
The evening started out with the gymnasium darkened for
a dancing light show and ended with an elegant solo dance by Chelsea
Larson, senior, performing her farewell dance to the O-A crowd.
O-A Dance Teams also included Elementary students who
had participated in a dance camp earlier in the day, and Middle School
dancers. Several solo dances were interspersed throughout the
program.
Parents of the O-A dancers were recognized for their
support, and Rendee Wallace, director for the past 10 years, was honored.
I have never attended a dance show in Odebolt, and I
was truly impressed with the level of skill, showmanship and grace
exhibited by the dancers. It was obvious that they had practiced
long and hard to fine-tune their performances. The costumes worn by
the dancers varied from fanciful to elegant and were very attractive.
I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed the show and
congratulate the students and all involved in this fine dance program. If
you have never attended one of O-A's dance shows, plan to go next year.
You won't be disappointed!
