HEMER'S PLUMBING & HEATING

Hemer's Plumbing and Heating install and service furnaces, air conditioners, air-to-air heat pumps and ground-source heat pumps.  They also sell and install bathroom and kitchen fixtures.  Keeping up with the plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs of Odebolt and area residents keeps the Hemer brothers extremely busy.

Carl and Dave Hemer

Carl Hemer grew up on a farm near Arthur, Iowa and graduated from Odebolt-Arthur High School in 1982.  Carl joined Red Barclay in business in 1984, and bought the business from him in 1988.  Formerly located on the corner of Second and Main Streets, the business moved to its present location in 2004.  You can find Hemer's Plumbing and Heating on Maple Street across from the First Presbyterian Church in Odebolt.

Carl and his wife, Roxie, have three boys, Colby, Colton and Connor.  He is a member of the Odebolt Fire Department and the Odebolt Development Corporation, and also coaches baseball and wrestling.

Dave Hemer joined the business in the summer of 1988, having graduated from Odebolt-Arthur High School in 1987.  He and his wife, Diane, have three children, Dalton, Madison and Dylan.  Dave is involved in farming, and coaches baseball and wrestling.
