School Section - Some of the
many items on display are:
A side saddle used by teacher Hannah
Aupperle Meyer when she taught in a country school from 1888 to 1892.
... Child's Trojan jacket and lettermen sweaters ... Teachers journals from
the late 1800's, news clippings, trophies and school memorabilia ...
Collection of many yearbooks dating from 1915 when they were called
"Aurora", followed by "The Popper" (in reference to
Odebolt's status as Popcorn Center of the World). During the 1930's
and 40's the school did not produce yearbooks. Instead an Odebolt High
School Souvenir Edition was run in the local paper and the year, 1931 is on
display. The "Trojan" yearbooks came later.
