Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation

The Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation is a tax-exempt non-profit organization created to support and enhance the learning opportunities of the Odebolt-Arthur students.  The Foundation’s goal is to raise funds in order to finance exceptional projects and materials that will enhance the educational experiences of our children, focusing on projects that fall outside the scope of the school district’s annual budget.
 
By partnering with the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation, a qualified community foundation, donors have access to Endow Iowa Tax Credits.  Endow Iowa allows taxpayers to receive a 20% Iowa tax CREDIT in addition to the normal state and federal charitable income tax deductions for charitable gifts given to a permanent endowment fund.  Donors who endow their gifts can make a difference during their lifetime and, at the same time, provide a gift that lasts forever.

The Foundation enables those with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support local education in a variety of ways.

WAYS TO SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION
 

Support for the Odebolt Arthur Education Foundation may be arranged through a variety of programs.  Most gifts fall into one of these major categories:
 
Current Gifts…
Either one-time gifts or annual gifts  may be designated for a specific purpose or undesignated.  Undesignated gifts are encouraged so that the Foundation can respond to the highest priority needs of the district.
 
Planned Gifts…..
Through long-range estate and financial planning, you may make a substantial contribution to the Foundation while benefiting your own financial program. 
 
Honorary and Memorial Gifts….
An honorary or memorial gift is a thoughtful and meaningful way to recognize the life and work of a colleague, friend, or relative.
 
Pledges….
Some supporters of the Foundation may not have current funds available, but instead wish to pledge a contribution to the Foundation on an annual basis.
