On May 28, 1994 Ida Grove Bancshares, a wholly owned holding company, purchased Liberty bank and Trust of Odebolt and Kiron and we became United Bank of Iowa.  We have offices in Ida Grove, Arthur, Carroll, Charter Oak, Churdan, Denison, Fort Dodge, Lake City, Rockwell City, and Schleswig.

• UBI Kids Savings Club- for children age twelve and under.  The club mascot, "Ubi" the Money Bee, helps kids learn about saving money while having fun.  Club members earn interest on savings account balances over $5.00 and earn Ubi bucks that can be used to purchase free-bees.  Club members also receive a special savings book, a monthly newsletter, birthday cards and invitations to club parties.
