Building permit applications are only approved during the regular monthly meeting of the Odebolt City Council, which is held on the first Monday of the month (unless that day is a holiday). Also, the plans outlined in the building permit application must follow all applicable City Ordinances.

To apply for a building permit, please select one of the options below:

Option 1 - Print and Deliver

1. Download and print the Building Permit Application

2. Complete page 1 and sketch the plans on page 2

3. Drop off the completed application at Odebolt City Hall, 205 W. Second St., during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - Noon and 1-3 p.m., Monday - Friday)

Option 2 - Print, Scan and Email

1. Download and print the Building Permit Application

2. Complete page 1 and sketch the plans on page 2

3. Scan the completed application and email it to odebolt@netins.net

Option 3 - Complete via cell phone or tablet

1. Download the Building Permit Application to your device

2. Complete page 1 and sketch the plans on page 2 on your device using an app built to complete PDF forms. If you have an iPhone or iPad, we recommended the free app PDF Expert 7

3. Save the completed application to your device and email it to odebolt@netins.net
